Marquette is long out of business. They were never a frontline industrial welding manufacturer. They catered mostly to mechanics and farmers. Most of their welders were sold at auto parts stores and hardware stores. I can't comment on the two welders you got, except that they may have copper-wound transformers and as such, if copper were to return to last summer's prices, they would bring a certain amount as scrap.

Marquette welders
REDRUM007...Here are the two you mentioned. They are great welders, but with what you have you do not have a tig foot control for variable current. iF THE hI fREQ UNIT HAS A PLUG FOR A FOOT CONTROL, iT should be the same as a older Millers, but I don't know for sure. But you could tig with this setup and just use a straight heat setting.http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb...1&d=1242853772

This is a 7 year old post, I doubt you will find anything. You have an orphan there. All that marquette stuff was mostly junk.Originally Posted by lightplaneDid you ever find out any good information on the marquette. I have the same frequency box. No manual here but hi-frequency boxes are pretty simple creatures. If you post pics one of us that does a lot of welding can probably tell you what does what. The high frequency box isn't a welder in itself, just infuses high frequency AC into your electrode line to make arc starts happen without contact (and associated contamination) and prevent the arc from extinguishing during AC welding zero-crossing.Originally Posted by lightplaneDid you ever find out any good information on the marquette.
